Gene Scheer, Albert Schweitzer Portrait Maurice Ravel, Piano Concerto in G Major Richard Wagner, Rheingold: Entry of the Gods in Valhalla Gustav Holst, Mars, The Bringer of War, from The Planets Jerry Goldsmith, Star Trek through the Years John Williams, Star Wars

The evening will open with a performance of Albert Schweitzer Portrait, LSO's new work featuring the words and inspiration of Dr. Albert Schweitzer, set to music by Gene Scheer, composer for Ken Burns' film The War.

The concert will also feature a young virtuoso performing Maurice Ravel's Piano Concerto in G Major, with the winner of the 2009 concerto competition for the Foundation for Chinese Performing Arts.
