Meet the Artists:


Ji-Yong Kim was born in January, 1991, in Korea and began playing the piano
at the age of four. He was one of the two honorable mentions from New
Amsterdam's Concerto Competition. Since coming to the United States in
January, 2000, he has performed at the German Consulate in a Bach festival
among other events. He has played with the New Jersey Symphony, the Longwood
Symphony, and the New York Sinfonietta with works by Bach, Bartok, Chopin,
Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann and Mozart. Ji-Yong is a full scholarship,
honor student at the Mannes Preparatry Division studying with Yuri Kim, and
is a fourth grader at St. Peter's Academy.

Eun-Taek Kim was born in Seoul, Korea in 1987 and began studying the piano
when he was five. Eun-Taek has won numerous competitions including the 2nd
prize winner of the 2001 Oberlin International Piano Competition, the Eum
Yeon Competition and the Kyung-Won University Competition. He entered the Yea
Won Middle School of the Arts Piano Division in 2000. Eun-Taek won first
prize at the Korean Times Korea's Youth Competition, performed in
Shanghai with Mr. Kong Shang Dong and performed with the Kriva Chamber
Orchestra. Currently, Eun-Taek is studying in the pre-college division of
the Seoul Art Center School with Mr. Jong Pil Lim.
